BIRTH STORIES

Here are a selection of birth stories, some of which have been published in our magazine "Down to Birth" or have been submitted to us for publishing on this website.

These stories give very personal insights into homebirth as experienced by women in Queensland.

Each birth is a unique experience and occurs in its own way, at its own time. The births vary enormously in their settings and details, but each one remains the treasured memory of the arrival of a new, special little person.
